Hello! My name is Eric Liu, and I’m a passionate and dedicated music teacher based in the Bay Area.

With over 15+ years of experience teaching students of all ages — from curious five-year-olds to accomplished adults — I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of learners discover their musical voice. My musical journey has also brought me opportunities of my own, including being accepted into the prestigious The Juilliard School, an experience that further strengthened my commitment to artistic excellence and lifelong growth in music.

My greatest joy comes from seeing my students grow and succeed, both in music and beyond. Many of them have gone on to study at prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School, John Hopkins Peabody Conservatory, and San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where they’ve continued to shine and achieve remarkable things.

Teaching over 70 students each week, music has truly become an inseparable part of who I am. While some may view a career in music as unconventional, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power it holds — to inspire, heal, and connect people in profound ways. That belief continues to drive my passion every single day.

Outside of teaching, I love exploring new places, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the company of friends and family. I’m also an avid photographer, hiker, and pet lover — always seeking balance and inspiration in the world around me.
