Thank You Parents for Entrusting me with your Child's Education and Investing in their Success!!
A student of mine once told me:
“Eric! I am definitely getting my Doctors of Music just so you have to call me Dr. Pan” 🤣
This alone shows enough about how I work with my students and how confident I am as a music educator haha! Many parents naturally look for teachers with the highest degrees and credentials, yet years later find their child progressing no faster than their peers. While education is important, the higher the credential, the more the emphasis can shift toward specialization, philosophy, theory over artistic freedom and nurturing individual artistic development. Music is ultimately an art, and the best performers do not always make the best teachers. Some of the most effective teachers are not the loudest or most decorated, but those who genuinely care about their students' growth.
I encourage my students to remain humble in success, letting their accomplishments, artistry, and passion for music speak for themselves. My students will eventually be better than me and I hope they continue sharing the love of music to others.
As I continue to learn every day, I strive to share my knowledge, experience, and passion with each student who walks through my door.Without music, life would be a mistake. Music is my life.

Jasmine Zhang (Violin)
"Eric's an incredible musician and he's really passionate about the music he teaches. His ears are so sharp that he can tell which notes I'm playing just from listening-even in the middle of a song! I like how he's able to teach a variety of musical aspects and his teaching style really pushes the students to take responsibility of their music. Eric cares about his students a lot and motivates them to perform/showcase what they've learned/been practicing. He's a really talented artist and teacher and I highly recommend him."
Sharon Kam (Piano)
"Eric’s talents don't come free — because truly, to give my daughter a chance to achieve true excellence with someone so warm and engaging is worth it. I don't know of anyone who can compete with Eric in terms of pushing progress in a way that is effective and instills both a love of music and strong work ethic"
Jason Panelli (Voice)
"Eric was encouraging from the very beginning and stern when needed. That's what really allowed me to learn and grow (bless him because I know how horrible I sounded). I can confidently say that Eric has probably doubled my rate of progress. It's been incredibly rewarding and I am excited to see where I can go and what more I can learn and I owe the majority of that to Eric and his lessons. If you are considering Eric for voice I would definitely recommend him"
